Well, it’s supposed to be a a lucky day…too bad I’m not in Vegas! Today, Olivia turns 5 months old. I was told that at 4 months her colic would get better...Well, I didn’t get so lucky that month. So, send some of the lucky 7’s my way and hope that this is the month! She’s just lucky she’s so darn cute!

Deep Thoughts

Today I had some interesting questions for my mom. Some of which I don't think she knew how to answer, but I thought it was important to continue to ask until she came up with something.
So here are some of my questions today:
..."Mom, what would happen if there weren't any mommies"?
..."Mom, what would happen if Daddy didn't have any kids, would he still be Daddy"?

...anyone?

Phew, the hoidays are over!

Wow. I loved the last three months. First it was my birthday, then Halloween, then Thanksgiving, Christmas and Emma's birthday. It rocked!
The only bad thing is that the camera we used to take pictures of my 6 year old birthday broke (thanks Mom) and then the memory card was thrown away (thanks Dad), so we don't have any pictures of my birthday.

The good news is that I am having a lot of fun at school and making new friends. I love the snow, especially sledding and shoveling the driveway. I really like to draw and I am becoming quite the artist. Being 6 years old is really cool.

I'm Four!

I had a birthday! I didn't really feel four years old when I woke up, but I am feeling more like it now. My legs have grown a little longer I think. I really like preschool and on my birthday I got to be student of the day.

I hate the snow, it's so cold and makes my fingers sting. I did like sledding though, except when the snow went in my face, I cried. I can't wait for summer!

First Month as a Big Kid!

So I started Kindergarten a few weeks ago. I absolutely love it. I sit next to Emilio and Trina. Trina was really nice to me at recess on my first day. I really like hot lunch, we get to eat it outside when it's nice weather.

I also started Boys Gymnastics for big kids and played in my first soccer game. I'm really good at both of them. I am reading really well too and I read an entire Spongebob book all by myself.

It's getting colder out and I am excited for the winter. That means all my favorite things are coming, like my birthday, Halloween, Christmas and snow! Can't wait!

My Last Week

I can't believe it's my last week of pre-school. When I go back to school after summer I will be in Kindergarten. I can't wait because I will get to eat lunch at school with my friends.

Today I saw a red-tail hawk looking for a mouse to eat. I also went to a splash park and a play park, oh and the doctor too. It was a fun day.

Caribou

This morning I just can't stop talking about Caribous. I learned all about them yesterday in school and here is what I have to say about them.
A Caribou is part of the deer family like the Elk and Moose. It looks like the deer in Bambi 2.
His Antlers don't stay on all seasons, they fall off at Spring.
You think that the antlers have feelings, but they don't. It doesn't hurt when you hit them. They use the antlers for protection.
Their enemies are bear, man and wolf.
Do you think they have fat to make them warm? No, a walruis has fat. Caribous are pretty skinny but his fur keeps him warm.
One thing I love about Caribous is that they are like a moose but without the hanging fur on their throats. I know a lot about Caribous huh?!

I Finally Turned Three!

I turned three! I was so excited to finally have my birthday. I went to Jungle Jim's with my cousins and friends. It was so much fun. Then I had a special party at my Grandma Garramores. It was great.

I also had a great Valentine's Day. I had a fun party at Preschool and gave out Care Bear cards. Then I started a brand new speech therapy class for 3 year olds and had a party with my new class. I got lots of candy...my favorite is chocolate and suckers!

Then last night I went to my first U of U basketball game and I rode a train which was fun, but then on the way home I wasn't feeling so well and threw up all over the car! Then when I got home I did the same thing every 20 minutes until 5:00 in the morning. I'm feeling a little better now with a little rest and a new Strawberry Shortcake movie. Goodnight!

Lucky Hat

I've had a really good month and a great Valentines Day. I went to the Cougar and Utah basketball game with my dad and wore my lucky "U" hat. I've never been to a basketball game before. My favorite part was the balloon that floats and drops presents and also the cotton candy. Then I went last night but they lost because I didn't wear my hat.

I am having a great time at preschool and I am reading a book every day at school and get to bring it home to read it to my mom and Emma for bedtime stories. Have a great day!
