Yesterday, it was reported that our unemployment rate is at a 14-year high at 6.5%.
It's become a lot more real to me today as I found out that some people close to me have been laid off. Obviously times are really hard right now, but to lose a job on top of all of it, must be devastating.
For us, being self-employed is both a blessing and a curse. On the positive side, we are in charge of our own destiny. On the negative side, we are in charge of our own destiny. I feel especially fortunate today, and just wanted to send out love to those who continue to be affected by these difficult times.
