Olivia is so excited for Kindergarten. I told her that she couldn't go until we moved to Texas and she needed shots first. So the day we moved she asked for her shots. No matter how many times I told her they would hurt, and that we didn't need them right away, she just begged and begged.
So, I found a doctor and off we went to get her shots. I told her it was okay to cry and not to be scared. She kept insisting that she's not scared and that it won't hurt at all.

I figured that I had prepared her enough and she would soon see that Mom was right.
I was wrong.
She smiled the whole time, didn't even flinch, and then when the doctor said we were done, she asked, "Can we go to Kindergarten now?"
