The Herriman fire finally got out, but my mom couldn't stand the smell. It almost gave me asthma. The whole house was covered in ash. Because the Palmers couldn't live under these conditions, we we to Camp Williams to ask for their help. After waiting twenty minutes for a sergeant, he said he would hire a cleanup crew and he would pay for it. The cleanup crew weren't exactly "Daisy Maids". They were actually workers for AAA insurance. They didn't have little toilet brushes or washclothes; they had fancy machines, ladders, and sprays. The fanciest thing they did was put in an oxygen machine that sucked out all the smoky air. But the only problem with that is the smoky air is the only air, so my family went to St. George so we could survive that lack of oxygen. Other besides eating a Pop Tart nothing else was too interesting.
Sincerely,
Landon
